Saving Water & Supporting Wildlife with a Lawn Conversion

A water-wise, low-maintenance garden that maintains a natural, yet purposely designed aesthetic was the clients' goal for this Santa Clara lawn conversion. The garden is composed of local California natives which include low-growing flowering perennials and evergreen shrubs, as well as some accent grasses. To keep costs low and conserve resources, the client's opted to keep the original hardscape kept in place and Earth & Spirit focused on creating a custom planting plan to complete the transformation.
